While Cook Inlet is famous for its Halibut the Kenai Peninsula is most famous for record breaking
and award winning Salmon. Kings, Chinooks, Reds, and Silvers are just waiting to be caught by
sport fisherman within minutes of Scenic View RV Park.
The thrill of catching a 50, 70, or, heaven forbid, “oh, my aching arms”, an 80 pound Salmon is
something most people only read about in books and you can experience it here on your Alaska trip.
Salmon can also be caught just off our beach either by casting or from your own boat.
